polishing my not so confused pipeyes Bryn, i caved in and bought a new stainless pipe, but couldnt get the one like yours, all shiny all along its beautiful long shaft, ooeer 
oh no, they do 2 types for the mk1 in that style and price, and guess what, mine isnt either !!! so i had to go for the expensive one, thats half black, though advertised as stainless from Germany, and 50 squid more !!!
seems my cat is the longest they do, so other type wouldnt fit.
anyway, as it was dark, and trying to snow, i had to take her for a spin round ring road and A1 see what tune i could get out of her, ooeer missus 
she is a bit/lot louder, and with a bit of practice with right foot, very tuneful , also freed the revs up too, she is straight round to the red now and still pulling !! got some wierd looks though with top down and frost bitten ears !!! but i was smiling 
see you sunday, youwill probably hear me coming, will practice a queen song for exhaust.
was NEVER confused.

it sounds like the il motorsports one you have from germany, it is the same one as mine, satin black rear box with chrome tips, ( yes you heard right ,chrome tips ) is it single or double 
did you need a crash course in german to read the instructions, i did.
try mating it up with the pipercross induction kit for that final puuurrrrr 
the extra loud exhaust note has the added advantage of drowning out the wifes err  the passengers constant nagging.

Too late Chris, she already seen it !!
just got single mate, keep it traditional, do understand a little german, but not that much. so left it to local garage for £30, just as well, as they had to burn nuts off !!  not worth me struggling on floor, when thats bound to happen. not sure about induction though, loud noise front and back, and in middle !! dont think ears will stand it, ouch !! must type this out of her reach !!
will we be seeing you sunday for fishing trip ??
